"Cia" Complete Spine Ribcage Necklace

This is, without a doubt, the most dramatic bone necklace that I have made in the last year or so. It is the ultimate statement piece. It is made from a complete spine, which I have put together in such a way that it moves very fluidly and it is very flexible. The side pieces that make up the rib cage are made from vintage brass beads. There are no bones around the neck - only beads - making it particularly comfortable and easy to wear.

This necklace measures approximately 16" around, and measures approximately 7" x 19" laid flat. The spine itself is approximately 13" long. It features a brass lobster claw clasp.
