"Karo" Snake Vertebrae Chain Mail Bone Necklace

This is my favorite necklace I've made in quite a while. All the rings in the chain mail were spun by hand from a spool of wire, hand cut, and then linked together into this lovely scalloped shape. It almost looks like ruched fabric along the neck, and I could not be happier with how it turned out. The edges of the centerpiece are adorned with snake vertebrae, and the sections around the neck are embellished with antiqued brass beads and snake vertebrae as well.

This necklace measures approximately 17" around, and 6" x 14" laid flat. The chain mail section measures approximately 6" by 9". It features a brass lobster claw clasp.
